Create, rename, and recolor a Space
Add a new Space from the sidebar, give it a name and an accent color so you can find it instantly.

Steps
Open the Space switcher
Click the Space avatar at the top of the sidebar, or press ⌃Tab to open the switcher.
Create a new Space
Click the + button. Step creates an empty Space and focuses its name field.
Name your Space
Type a short, recognizable name (Work, Research, Trip 2026). Press Return to confirm.
Pick a color and icon
Click the color swatch to pick an accent color. Click the icon slot to pick an emoji or a glyph that helps you spot the Space at a glance.
