Resetting Step affects preferences only. Spaces, bookmarks, history, and passwords are kept.
Steps
Open Settings → Reset
Read the list of what's affected.
Click Reset settings
Step asks to confirm and applies the reset immediately.
Restart
Quit and relaunch Step for the new defaults to take full effect.
